Activated carbon cylindrical filter cartridge, as the name suggests, is a cylindrical component used for filtration, generally divided into filter cartridges used for filtering gas media and liquid media. The filter cartridge for filtering liquid media is generally installed inside the pipeline filter, and its shape is commonly conical, so it is also called a conical filter screen. Usually, the filter cartridges we refer to are mostly used to filter gases and are called air filter cartridges (hereinafter referred to as filter cartridges). The filter cartridge belongs to the surface filtration element, which uses the tiny breathable tissue formed on the surface of the filter material to block particulate matter in the gas.

Cleaning method for filter cartridge:
The commonly used automatic cleaning methods for filter cartridges include high-pressure gas pulse blowback and mechanical vibration. Pulse blowback is a process that uses pre-set parameters from a control device to send a signal to an electromagnetic valve, instantly opening and closing the valve diaphragm, allowing high-pressure gas to enter the spray tube and shake off dust on the surface of the filter cartridge using the rapid expansion force of the gas. Generally, the gas pressure is set to around 6 kilograms of force. Mechanical vibration dust cleaning is commonly used in small single machine filter cartridge dust collectors. It uses the shaking force generated by the eccentric device on the dust collector's flower plate to clean the dust. This action requires operation after stopping the machine.

Generally, we recommend that the design wind speed of filter paper containing wood pulp fibers should not exceed 0.6 meters per minute, and the recommended design wind speed for polyester non-woven fabric is 1 meter per minute. Of course, we also need to consider the specific characteristics of the filtered dust.
